Cartesian Rose

Cartesian Rose is inspired by the beautiful tracery of the gothic rose window. It pushes the circle out to form the classic dome in a spherical shape; symbolic of wholeness, while giving reference to the mathematics and philosophy of Rene Decartes.
Two rose bowls or domes are inverted on one another as a reflection, and perhaps gives suggestion of an organic or natural form, like a budding flower or a butterfly.
